Introducing my Beachbody Coach – Bob Shabasson / FitDadPDX
When I started P90X, I actually turned to my twitter account (twitter.com/absolutebica) and began finding many other people doing the program, updating their statuses, and asking lots of questions. It has actually been extremely helpful, and one of those people has been Bob Shabasson. He is a Beachbody Coach.
A Beachbody Coach is someone who has signed up to represent the Beachbody Community in multiple ways. First and foremost, to be a knowledgeable individual on the Beachbody products, help and communicate with Beachbody participants (such as myself), and also try to fuel the Beachbody business. Beachbody Coaches don’t have to be registered fitness trainers or anything, but you have to know what your talking about.
Bob, over Twitter, reached out to me as I asked questions and jumped right in. He was able to answer many types of questions I have, offer suggestions, and also stay as a motivating factor as many who start P90X don’t make it to the end. Beachbody knew this and felt if their customers loved the program, they may love helping other people. It also offers the coaches incentives to turn it into a business, in an affiliate type of way, which lets them drive their knowledge, support, and dedication for some extra cash in their pockets and discounts on Beachbody products.

I also want to throw out a shoutout to another great Beachbody coach and someone who has been a great help for my questions is Dave Ward. Dave and Monica Ward are actually founding members of the Beachbody coaching system. I recommend visiting their site and forums for many nutritional and fitness related topics.

For a couple weeks in a row, I have chosen to go at my punching bag for my Kenpo X session. I spent about 40 minutes working on a combination of punches and kicks. I really feel good after a punching bag session.
